2008 White Bird Rodeo Queen - Taylor Canaday

Taylor is the 14 year old daughter of Gary and Lisa Canaday of Grangeville. Her grandparents are Janet and the late John Klement and  Linda and the late Ben Canaday.

I have been riding horses since I was 6 years old and I will be riding my 9 year old horse, Blaze. I am involved in a few sports such as basketball, volleyball, softball and rodeo. Blaze has been involved in sports as well. He likes 4H, and rodeo, rodeo, and Rodeo!

During the summer, I am a leader of the Grangeville Triple Bar Team. I absolutely love the sport of rodeo, which is one of the reasons why I am proud and excited about representing the White Bird Rodeo.

We all have a real good time at White Bird, so please come down and be prepared to "Let'er Rip"!!

Stephanie is 14 years old and her parents are John and Shelly Bentley of Grangeville.

I will be riding my 10 year old horse, Kahlua. i have competed in rodeos most of my life from muttin' bustin to steer riding. I also barrel race in many of the area rodeos.

Rodeo is not the only sport that I am active in, I also am in volleyball, 4H, C.I.R.A., Triple Bar Drill Team, and Cottonwood Riding Club. I attend Rodeo Bible Camp in Cambridge too.

This year I am very honored to be carrying the White Bird Rodeo flag for my best friend, Taylor Canaday. Even though we compete against each other, we are there to support one another in everything we do together.

White Bird is one of my favorite rodeos to compete in. I hope to see y'all at the White Bird Rodeo to "Let'er Rip"!!
